Martensitic Stainless Steel

Martensitic stainless steel has high hardness, good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Its properties can be adjusted through heat treatment (quenching + tempering) to meet the requirements of the application conditions.

However, the tempering brittleness temperature range of martensitic stainless steel is 425-565℃. Tempering in this temperature range will cause the impact toughness of the steel to drop sharply. For parts that require impact resistance, tempering at this temperature should not be used, and applications in this temperature range should be avoided.

Our company is a professional manufacturer of martensitic stainless steel from China. We produce steel ingots by die casting or electroslag remelting (ESR) processes, perform subsequent forming processes until finished products such as bars and plates. Typical product grades include 1.4313, 95Cr18, 440C, and 440B. We maintain a regular inventory, small-batch cutting and third-party inspection are acceptable.
