SUH4 Martensitic Stainless Steel Bars and plates
It is a chromium-silicon-nickel martensitic valve steel, featuring excellent wear resistance, high hardness, and good corrosion resistance. It also has good fatigue resistance and moderate toughness, making it suitable for high-load working conditions. However, it has poor weldability and high processing difficulty, and its high carbon content may lead to brittleness tendency.
Applications of SUH4
It is used to manufacture intake valves, exhaust valves, valve seats and other components mainly requiring wear resistance. It is also applied to high-end cutting tools (such as kitchen knives, surgical instruments), bearing components, valve parts, and industrial machinery components that need wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
