1.4718 Martensitic Stainless Steel Bars and plates
It is a martensitic heat-resistant steel, belonging to the chromium-silicon heat-resistant steel series. It features good high-temperature oxidation resistance and can form a stable oxide film at around 800°C to resist high-temperature oxidation attack. It also possesses certain high-temperature strength and wear resistance. Its high-temperature oxidation resistance is favorable, and the cost is relatively low.
Applications of 1.4718
This material is mainly used to manufacture structural parts under medium-temperature service conditions, such as boiler supports and certain heat exchanger components. It can also be applied to auxiliary parts of automotive exhaust systems and some accessory components of industrial furnaces.
