Inconel 718 UNS N07718 2.4668 Heat-Resisting Superalloy Bars and plates
It exhibits excellent comprehensive properties in the temperature range of -253°C to 700°C, with its yield strength below 650°C ranking first among wrought superalloys. It also features good fatigue resistance, radiation resistance, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, as well as favorable formability and weldability, yet the cost of its machining is relatively high.
Applications of Inconel 718
It can be fabricated into various components with complex geometries and is widely used in aerospace, nuclear energy, petroleum industries and extrusion dies. It is applicable for manufacturing various stationary and rotating parts in aerospace engines, such as disks, ring forging parts, blades, shafts, fasteners, sealing elements and welded structures. Additionally, it can be used to produce various elastic components for nuclear industry applications.
