UNS N06002 2.4665 Heat-Resisting Superalloy Bars and plates
This nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum solid-solution strengthened superalloy achieves balanced and stable comprehensive high-temperature performance via combined solid-solution strengthening of chromium and molybdenum. It delivers outstanding creep resistance and cyclic high-temperature oxidation resistance below 900 ℃, with superior resistance to flue gas sulfidation corrosion, high-temperature hot corrosion, carburization and nitriding attack. It also features excellent thermal fatigue resistance and thermal shock resistance, favorable hot & cold formability as well as reliable weldability. It can withstand short-term service temperature up to 1080 ℃ with outstanding high-temperature structural stability.
Applications of UNS N06002
In the aerospace sector, it serves as the core high-temperature structural material for aero-engine combustion chambers, flame holders, transition ducts, afterburner components and tail nozzles. In energy equipment manufacturing, it is widely applied to radiant tubes, muffle furnaces, furnace support members for industrial heat treatment furnaces, and high-temperature combustion parts of gas turbines. In petrochemical industry, it is suitable for high-temperature cracking tubes, catalyst support grids, liners of high-temperature reactors and high-temperature flue gas heat exchange equipment. In nuclear power engineering, it can be adopted for heat exchange components and auxiliary structural parts with high-temperature corrosion resistance in high-temperature gas-cooled reactors.
