UNS N06030 Corrosion-Resisting Superalloy Bars and Plates
This is a high-chromium nickel-based solid-solution strengthened super corrosion-resistant alloy. Modified with composite alloying elements including molybdenum, copper, tungsten and niobium on nickel matrix with high chromium content, it delivers outstanding resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking in highly oxidizing phosphoric acid, nitric acid, mixed acid, nitric-hydrofluoric mixed corrosive media and wet-process phosphoric acid service environments. With low carbon content and niobium stabilization treatment, no harmful carbide precipitates form in welding heat-affected zones, allowing direct service in as-welded condition. It integrates superior hot/cold formability and weldability, maintains stable metallographic structure over wide temperature range, and features excellent fatigue resistance and stress relaxation resistance, serving as premium special corrosion-resistant alloy for dual severe service conditions of heavy oxidation corrosion and mechanical load.
Applications of UNS N06030
This material acts as core raw material for wet-process phosphoric acid evaporators, phosphoric acid reactors, nitric acid absorption towers, pickling line tanks and heat exchange components. It is applicable to corrosion-resistant impellers, nozzles, pressure-bearing parts of circulating pumps in flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, high-corrosion vessels and pipe flanges for nuclear fuel reprocessing. Widely adopted in chemical alkylation reactors, oxidizing acid heat exchangers, pharmaceutical high organic acid reaction equipment, corrosive components for gold hydrometallurgical extraction and high-corrosion heat exchange assemblies for seawater desalination, it is a premium special alloy dedicated to critical load-bearing anti-corrosion parts under highly oxidizing acid corrosion, mixed acid corrosion and high-temperature acidic corrosive conditions.
