Inconel 600 UNS N06600 2.4816 Corrosion-Resisting Superalloy Bars and Plates
This nickel-chromium-based high-temperature corrosion-resistant alloy boasts excellent resistance to high-temperature oxidation, superior mechanical properties, and outstanding corrosion resistance. Even in high-temperature environments, it maintains high strength and exhibits exceptional resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. Additionally, it demonstrates good tolerance to a variety of organic acids, alkaline solutions, and high-temperature steam environments.
Applications of Inconel 600
In chemical manufacturing, this alloy is commonly used to produce heater tubes, reaction vessels, evaporators, and acid-resistant equipment. In the nuclear energy sector, it is employed in critical components such as fuel element support structures and control rod guide tubes for nuclear reactors. In the aerospace industry, it is suitable for engine parts, combustion chamber liners, and exhaust systems.
