Inconel 725 UNS N07725 Corrosion-Resisting Superalloy Bars and Plates
This is a precipitation-hardened high-strength corrosion-resistant nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium-titanium alloy. Strengthened by aging modification with chromium, molybdenum, niobium and titanium based on nickel matrix, it delivers excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and sulfide stress cracking under harsh corrosive environments including strong acid, hydrogen sulfide and seawater. It achieves drastically improved tensile strength after aging treatment, combining high strength, superior corrosion resistance, favorable hot/cold formability and weldability. It maintains stable structure from low to medium-high temperature with outstanding fatigue resistance and stress relaxation resistance, serving as premium special alloy for dual harsh working conditions of heavy load and severe corrosion.
Applications of Inconel 725
This material is the core raw material for deep-sea oil & gas wellhead equipment, high-sulfur oil & gas well hangers and high-strength anti-corrosion bolts. It is suitable for deep-sea pressure-resistant components of marine engineering and high-pressure corrosion-resistant pipelines for seawater desalination. Widely applied to chemical pickling equipment, acidic medium reactors, corrosion-resistant parts for nuclear power seawater cooling and aerospace corrosion-resistant high-temperature fasteners, it is a premium special alloy dedicated to critical load-bearing and anti-corrosion components under high-pressure corrosive conditions, deep-sea facilities and sour oil & gas exploitation.
