3Cr13Mo Martensitic Stainless Steel Bars and plates
Based on 30Cr13 (3Cr13) steel, molybdenum is added to improve the steel’s strength and hardness, enhance the secondary hardening effect, and its corrosion resistance is superior to that of 30Cr13 (3Cr13) steel. It has high hardness and corrosion resistance, but poor weldability and toughness. Optimal performance is usually achieved through heat treatment
Applications of 3Cr13Mo
It is mainly used in occasions requiring both hardness and corrosion resistance, such as: cutting tools (surgical instruments, table knives, scissors, razor blades, etc.), mechanical parts (shafts, valve parts, pump components, mold inserts, etc.), wear-resistant components (bearing rings, gears, nozzles, etc.), and non-critical corrosion-resistant components in chemical equipment.
