UNS N06059 Corrosion-Resisting Superalloy Bars and Plates
This high-molybdenum nickel-based austenitic corrosion-resistant alloy offers outstanding resistance to strongly oxidizing acids, reducing acids and mixed acids, as well as chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion. Designed with ultra-low carbon to avoid carbide precipitation, it features excellent weldability, stable hot and cold formability, superior resistance to intergranular corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking, making it suitable for pressure-bearing equipment under severe corrosive media and harsh corrosion conditions in fine chemical industry.
Applications of UNS N06059
Widely applied in mixed nitric acid reaction vessels, hydrometallurgical leaching equipment, core heat exchangers for flue gas desulfurization, anti-corrosion units for high-purity chemicals and high-chloride seawater chemical heat exchange devices, acting as a dedicated pressure-bearing alloy for composite corrosive environments with strong oxidizing and reducing properties.
