Inconel 617 UNS N06617 Heat-Resisting Superalloy Bars and plates
This is a solid-solution strengthened nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum high-temperature corrosion-resistant alloy. With nickel as matrix and compound alloying elements including chromium, cobalt, molybdenum and aluminum, it delivers superior creep rupture strength, high-temperature oxidation resistance and carburization resistance up to 1100℃ with outstanding thermal cycle stability. It features excellent resistance to high-temperature flue gas corrosion and stress relaxation, favorable hot/cold formability and weldability. It can sustain alternating high-temperature loadings and harsh oxidizing service for long term, possessing far better structural stability than conventional high-temperature alloys.
Applications of Inconel 617
This material acts as core raw material for heavy-duty gas turbine combustion chambers, high-temperature load-bearing rings, aero-engine high-temperature structural parts and nuclear reactor core heat exchange components. It is applicable to industrial furnace radiant tubes, heat treatment fixtures and high-temperature flue heat-resistant parts. Widely adopted in petrochemical cracking furnaces, hydrogen energy high-temperature reaction equipment, aerospace high-temperature fasteners and waste incineration waste heat boilers, it is a premium special alloy dedicated for ultra-high temperature pressure-bearing and heat-resistant load-bearing critical equipment.
