UNS S66286 Age-Hardening Stainless Steel Bars and Plates
This is an austenitic precipitation-hardening steel characterized by high notch toughness, excellent high-temperature resistance, high strength, and outstanding oxidation and corrosion resistance. The steel retains superior mechanical properties within the temperature range of 600℃ to 750℃, while also exhibiting good weldability and formability. Moreover, when the temperature is below 980℃, its oxidation resistance is comparable to that of 06Cr25Ni20 (0Cr25Ni20).
Applications of UNS S66286
Primarily used in working environments below 700℃, these components or devices require high strength and excellent corrosion resistance—for example, turbine rotors, blades, combustion chamber frame components, and bolts. In advanced equipment manufacturing, they are also employed in corrosion-resistant fasteners, special springs, and precision components that demand high strength and toughness.
