UNS S35500 Age-Hardening Stainless Steel Bars and Plates
Martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel boasts high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and superior mechanical properties. It features a simple heat treatment process, good weldability, and ease of machining. However, in certain harsh environments—such as those with high chloride ion concentrations—it exhibits lower corrosion resistance compared to austenitic stainless steels and comes at a higher cost.
