UNS S46910 Age-Hardening Stainless Steel Bars and Plates
This new martensitic age-hardening stainless steel is specially developed for high-strength applications in extreme environments. After age hardening, it achieves an ultra-high strength of 1930 MPa while maintaining an elongation of 8%. It exhibits unique resistance to hydrogen embrittlement and demonstrates excellent hot-workability.
Applications of UNS S46910
Primarily used in cutting-edge aerospace fields (such as the turbine pump shafts for next-generation rocket engines and load-bearing frames for reusable spacecraft), critical components for deep-sea oil and gas exploration (including 10,000-meter-level explosion-proof valves and high-pressure plunger pumps), and radiation-resistant structural components for fusion devices—representing the most advanced technology currently available in ultra-high-strength stainless steels.
