0Cr16Ni6 Age-Hardening Stainless Steel Bars and Plates
This material exhibits excellent cold-workability and a certain degree of corrosion resistance. After cold working, it can achieve high strength while maintaining good toughness and demonstrating relatively stable mechanical properties at room temperature. However, its high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance are somewhat lacking, and its corrosion resistance in oxidizing media is inferior to that of stainless steels with higher chromium content.
Applications of 0Cr16Ni6
Its application scope is primarily focused on areas requiring cold forming, such as the manufacture of various cold-stamped parts, springs, mesh screens, and more. It also finds certain applications in components of food processing equipment, medical devices, and decorative parts.
