0Cr15Ni5Cu2Ti Age-Hardening Stainless Steel Bars and Plates
Martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel boasts excellent strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance, as well as good weldability and machinability. By means of age hardening, it can achieve high strength. Additionally, thanks to its copper content, it exhibits certain antibacterial properties. However, it is relatively sensitive to hydrogen embrittlement, has limited oxidation resistance at high temperatures, and is more costly than conventional stainless steels.
Applications of 0Cr15Ni5Cu2Ti
Primarily used in aerospace engine components (such as compressor blades), shafting parts for naval vessels, high-strength fasteners in the petroleum industry, and precision components that require both corrosion resistance and load-bearing capacity—such as critical load-bearing parts in medical devices and chemical equipment.
